but nothing like the reputation of Russian or even Chinese soldiers.
Pardon me, but what exactly has the PLA done that's so egregious, so much so that it outshines Shock and Awe, Abu Ghraib, the kangaroo court and illegal execution of Saddam Hussein, years long bloody occupation of Iraq, slaughter in Fallujah, forced labor in Fallujah, The Haditha Massacre, with all that not even being the full extent of American crimes in Iraq, and that just being Iraq alone, not speaking on Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, and all the other places the US has waged illegal wars and pillaging abroad. To be frank, What the fuck are you talking about brother?
The point being made is that a lot of Democrat voters limit their action to simply voting Democratic and lying by claiming the Democrats are lesser war-hawks, when historically both parties are fundamentally the same in perpetrating death globally. The post title is mocking the soldier in them using "I voted for Kamala" as a defense for his actions, i.e. I didn't want this to happen so I voted democrat. Also, the joke could be taken further as a "Just following orders" theme, given the soldier voted against this and didn't want it to happen, but still committed the war crime as ordered.
Ok but you don't reject the Israeli State. Which was founded on a genocide. This is like saying you're anti-genocide but you support the US's right to exist.
The Palestinian people are a people who have lived in that region for hundreds of years, just because they were previously occupied by Ottomans doesn't mean there's no material basis for the nation of Palestine being present in the region. The Jews like the Roma are a stateless nation and we do not need a state. Further, Jews have remained present in Palestine and have peacefully coexisted with them, there's no reason to believe they wouldn't be represented under a Palestinian state. Palestinians themselves, were decedents of the Ancient Israelites who converted to Islam. Aggression between the two groups only started when a genocidal settler colony began using our name, the Jewish People, to justify their actions.
You mean the colony established over the legitimate Palestinian State? This is like saying it's bad to fight for the abolition of the Reichskommissariats.
Idk where you got that those sites don't defend Jews. I feel very supported in those places, and the moderation on Hexbear at least takes antisemitism seriously(I can't say for the other two because I'm on there less often, but I'm yet to hear anything that would make me doubt that they defend their Jewish users as well)
I don't see how it's bad faith to call an instance that has taken a stance in favor of a genocide "genocide apologist. They are doing genocide apologia. If you aren't a genocide apologist, you should leave the genocide apologist instance, same as leaving the nazi bar if you aren't a nazi.
Actions speak louder than words. The Democrats may say they oppose these things, but functionally they do absolutely nothing to actually oppose the Republicans. What has the Democratic party done to oppose the Republicans beside be pathetic and bend the knee to their every whim? People still get deported under both parties, as stated in the above post, so functionally racism is still government policy regardless. When people make the point the parties are the same, the point we're trying to make is that electoralism under the American system will accomplish nothing. Only be standing against the party duopoly(which mind you, is effectively a one-party state) and pushing for regime change can racism be stamped out.
Also, both parties still bomb West-Asians just as much. So they're also equally racist in that regard.
Ok so now we're just doing religious discrimination?
