When I was a manager, I did my own damn firing. Not because I enjoyed it, but because the people that worked for me were people, not an employee number. It was genuinely hard, so I damn well thought about it before I shitcanned them.
My folding strategy for the fitted sheet: wad it up into a ball and shove it in the linen closet, because there is no mathematically proven way to properly manage the topology of a fitted sheet, and anyone that says they can is a witch.
These organizations have been mining opensource for decades now; they know they can make money when people put their ideas into the wild. Unfortunately, it's the price we pay for opensource. In the end though, opensource will win.
