  • I can't help you but in the 2000s they started to put copy protection on some audio CDs. Those CDs could not be played on cheap players or in car players that were using weird (and also cheap) hardware. Could that be the case here?

  • Stop with the mystery, it's not a Scooby-Doo episode.

  • The situation is identical for me in France. More than 200 resume sent in 6 months, lots of ghosting, less than 10 interviews with random rejection, or job offers that are removed because they don't have the budget anymore or something.

I'm starting to think about what I could do besides programming, it's a real mess.

  • Me not knowing what Lunduke is:

Rust Programmers 800% More Likely to be Trans

Who gives a shit? Another conspiracy idiot.

  • Some kind of FV*k1ng @ssh0l3. It must be leet speak or something.

  • Warez?

  • Mein kampf sucks. I don't understand this comic.

  • Is it slop?

  • I have worked in regulated industries for a long time. I guess it cannot be properly automated because laws change all the time (like every other month because some politician got a stupid idea and you have to start from scratch once again). That would be why we have companies dedicated to handling finances, taxes, and laws.

  • That's what I do for all my music. I go from FLAC to Opus, store it both a NAS and on the phone, and I get the same quality with a very small size for the files.

Also Opus 160 kbps and more is supposedly an "archival" mode where you cannot hear the difference. It could be my last audio format till the end of time.

  • What is the file 1345435363463435, and why do you still have multiple repos after 1 or 2 months?

  • My server is a single point of freedom. A co-op is a distributed one. It’s self-hosting, but with friends. It’s open source, but with a soul

I still don't understand what it's all about. It cannot be related to my own software, but for what kind of application is it meant?

  • lol

    • not AI because the video is too long
    • people are fucking stupid, it's legit
  • I have no idea how to get around this

    Maybe get some talent?

  • You could benefit from reading Art.5-1(c).

Once again "personal data." You haven't told us how Karcher knows that the device belongs to you. Everything else is irrelevant.

Local storage is subject to GDPR if: The organization maintains control ... The data is personal

Did you log on the device using an email or any personal data? You have to consult a lawyer for that because I doubt you fall in that case.

    A MAC address is unique

Absolutely not, and it can be changed.

    And again, are you European?

  • They talked about it more than a year ago. IIRC it is sent for review to a third party. The picture is supposedly anonymized.

Local or not, it is till spying IMHO.

  • Why do you have 2 accounts? It's weird.

  • Too many permissions, especially run at startup and AdServices. But it looks good anyway.
