Former ASIO source denied visa to give evidence in Bondi royal commission

A former ASIO undercover agent wants to give evidence to the Bondi royal commission, but has had a visa to enter Australia rejected.

The former source, known as Marcus, has been told by the royal commission it is 'eager' to hear from him. But his evidence can only be given in Australia - and his application for a visa to return to the country was declined.

Some federal MP's are urging the government to make whatever arrangements necessary to hear from him.
