  • Dude, too soon.

  • I think 8 double shots would get you in spitting distance of the LD 50 for caffeine, so maybe don’t try that :)

  • Are there even any women left in the administration? Or is now 100% old men who need viagra?

  • I think it’s the love child of George Washington and Cory Doctrow, two freedom fighters.

  • It'll depend on how much they think they can count on getting those heartland voters, I suppose. Also whether people will be too hungry to riot or not.

  • If there’s one area where I don’t mind government bailouts, it’s domestic food production.

What I DO mind is bailouts where the giant megafarmcorps are still allowed to keep their profits, give out dividends, do share buybacks, etc and then not lower prices (and probably ask for another bailout)

  • I think it's only a crime when you're not rich/well connected.

  • Ctrl-C doesn’t get him the big valuations though. Gotta follow the money.

  • Bob Ross, The Joy of Painting videos. Just a quiet voice and the sounds of brush on canvas.

  • It’s not like you can opt out of one or the other. Objectively it’s be better if broad scale data collection by private companies was illegal since then you’d have some confidence that only the govt was spying on you, and their budget for it would be smaller than Facebook and palantir’s.

  • Because he’s a greedy bastard with the ear of every head of state, standing at the top of a $1.6T pyramid scheme we’re all tangled up in.

  • Thats why there are no smart locks in my house. Deadbolts and keys only.

  • Let's hope they get the Enron treatment for their actions

  • Yeah, we've definitely been seeing diminishing returns with the latest frontier models. I think that's why when GLM and Kimi come in at 1/5 the price of Opus but are just as good, or when Deepseek comes in at 1/10 the price and is catching up quickly, they have to worry. There may be nowhere for them to go.

  • Wondering how the 4gb version will compare to the 4gb RX580 I have sitting in a box somewhere.

  • Jesus Christ. I came for the Princess Bride references and left with yet another example of how horrific human beings can act when it's "for reasons".

  • For about 15 years I’ve been doing what I call “thankfulness,” where I force myself to acknowledge that I’m thankful for something. Often it’s just little things in the flow of the day because that’s easy to incorporate (like being thankful that there’s a still a couple of Oreos left to have with tea — really basic, low-hanging fruit). Other times it’s thinking about more meaningful things in a deep way. But it’s habitual now, to the point where I find myself being thankful for being thankful.

  • Dunno if it’s intentional but I always read that app name as bitch@ which admittedly is apt for many social media users.

  • This would be amazing.
