    One of my favorite tidbits is that, though the fences break down slowly, machines like mayo makers and lightning rods don't, so you can build your "fences" out of those and know you are safe.

  • Involve them in the world building! Play games like A Quiet Year to develop a map and history, Artifact to make legendary items and add history to the world, Deck of Worlds to make locations for the larger map, dieties, etc.
