    Muse basically introduced me to prog and I'm quite fond of all the albums up until Simulation Theory, when I was already listening so much other stuff I stopped paying attention. Same happened to me with Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Tame Impala, Real Estate... Bands change their sound for different reasons and I don't care about dwelling on it, especially knowing there are more bands out there with similar sounds that I like and I just need to find them

    Another thing is that growing up in the middle of nowhere I never cared how they sounded live lmao

    e: Currently my greatest battle is having my lists across different devices, since I don't like actually using YT so I've relied on different clients like NewPipe and Innertune but then I have to remember to pass them to desktop somehow, and now Innertune's successor, Outertune, is also broken, so I can only listen to what I've downloaded (2000 songs

  • New job (🎉), they make me choose working on windows or mac. Linux is not an option sadly, I hate windows but never used mac. What should I choose?

  • I exaggerate, it was once or twice that I brought it up. Really they just don't like switching browsers, which is understandable, but maybe they didn't trust that it's really easy to export bookmarks and passwords and all that from Chrome. Otherwise I'm always recommending NewPipe when people get YT ads on Android, which I found people are more receptive to since NP has so many good, exclusive features and people feel it doesn't require any setup.

  • I finally settled on 7700x and 9060xt and taking into account your (plural) advice I'm sitting at 1200 after taxes. Kinda tempted to go for 9060xt 8gb because it's 80 bucks less but I'm not sure what that would get me. Also not sure if I should cheap out more and go to 7700 with the stock cooler for a 100 less.

  • I would be using for it gaming and compiling too. I was eyeing the 16 core ones but it went bad fast lol. I'm not sure where "high frames" is exactly but I wasn't really aiming for that. About the gpu, I didn't think there was such a change in performance. Plus the other options you mentioned aren't any cheaper. Thank you for the advice!

  • Thank you for the advice. I kinda saw there weren't better deals for the cpu, so I went with that one and skimped more on the gpu. I'll assess the nvme thing, I was planning on dualbooting but I don't know what my drives will look like, I just saw they weren't that more expensive than 1TB. Lastly the power supply I immediately saw it shouldn't be so beefy lmao
