I use Debian btw

  • Andrew Tate keeps his biological building blocks in his mobile device's battery. This arrangement functions well in prison.

    Put another way:

Incel's cells in cell's cell excel in cell.

  • I don't want you to wear out my two-dollar light switch!! Waaah

    But also:

Rent this month is $2,200, and you'd better not be late, or you're a dead motherfucker.

  • I encouraged my sister to not go to school (against what everyone else in my family told her). Now she's in several thousand dollars worth of debt and has no degree. She wanted to do nursing, but she actually does not enjoy caring for super needy people. It took a couple months of wiping butts in the old folks home for her to flunk out.

She didn't take out a loan, but they take what tax refunds she would get each year.

  • I got my degree in 2014 at 22, and it still took scores of applications to get even a handful of interviews and one job offer for $17 an hour. I can only imagine what young people deal with today. I know it's only worsened in the last half decade or so.

  • Dang. Guess I'm gonna have to go yet another week keeping my PS2 offline.

  • Something tells me this person has never voted against the GOP. Calling someone a Nazi for calling out Nazis is some Nazi shit. This person would probably be the first to show up with a pry bar to gleefully dismantle the floorboards.

  • Aw man, this reminds me that I have a busted PSP I need to fix. I've been wanting a pocket emulator for some time, and I used to have a PSP ages ago that I'd jailbroken to play SNES games lol

  • My parents helped me move into my first own apartment in August 2014. It was so hot and humid. First thing I did was barf. I'm autistic, I hate change, and my move symbolized a mammoth change in my life. I was 22. I'd just graduated college. I moved to the city away from my friends. I would be starting my first full-time job that following Monday. My life as I knew it was ending, and something else was beginning. I'm sure the heat exhaustion wasn't helping. I lied in bed, watching the ceiling spin and spin and spin and spin until I couldn't take it anymore and said my prayers to the porcelain gods for the rest of the night.

I believe I moved on a Wednesday so I had time to get my bearings. Figure out where things were and what there was to do. I was never a drinker so even though the area was lousy with watering holes, I never visited any of them. But I did get to game over the weekend. My first day at work wasn't too bad, either. I got paid seventeen bucks an hour to sort time cards on my first day. Paychecks were a month in arrears. You had to wait til the end of the following month to collect your first payday so since I started on the 11th and not the 1st of the month, those first few months were rough.

Took me a while to poop with the door open. I only got to do that for maybe a half year before I met and moved in with my now wife. She doesn't deserve to smell that shit, but she does tell me I the farts I fart in my sleep are war crimes lol

  • This is why I swapped my RTX 4070 with my brother for his 7700 XT. He offered me some money on top of it. I told him happy birthday because it matters more to me that it just fucking works instead of requiring a blood sacrifice every six weeks to not boot into a void.

Or, as Linus put it, fuck you NVIDIA.

Edit: No problems at all since I swapped the 7700 into my machine, by the way. Getting GPU drivers on my brother's Win 11 machine was a whole task by itself. Even on Windows, getting NVIDIA drivers to work isn't a painless experience.

  • Breaking the waves is how I get 45-50 mpg on commutes in my 2012 Civic. And that's with the air conditioning turned on. If I maintain a fairly steady 50-60 miles an hour, I will easily go 400+ miles on a tank.

  • I love driving cars as much as I love wrenching on them. That is to say it's among my favorite things when I want to, and I want to stick a red hot poker in my eyes when I have to.

  • My landlord once didn't call the repairman when the air conditioning went out on a Saturday when it was 110°F outside (and remained that way all weekend). She made the excuse that her AC repairman was at a tournament and didn't have anyone come over til the following Monday. You know. When rates were cheaper.

Nevermind the fact that she made >$20,000 in rent from us. She couldn't spend the extra $150 for the weekend rate.

That was the moment I was radicalized against landlords.

I'm a sucker for pain at the pump.

  • John Hammond

If ultra wealthy dudes were gonna end humanity as we know it, they could have done it with more overt means like frickin' dinosaurs. That would have been a much cooler way for society to go than whatever bullshit we're stuck with now.

  • Taxonomists sort land-dwelling carnivorous mammals into two distinct groups: Feliformia (cat-like), Caniformia (dog-like). In other words, they're all either cats or dogs.

And they are absolutely right. At first pass, these just looked like regular dogs to me lol

There is a third suborder in Carnivora - the Pinnipeds, aka seals. But convince me a seal isn't just a chubby, fin-footed water dog.

She's missing a few brain cells.

  • Don't speak for me. You have no idea what my ass will do.

  • It's more than my wife and I earn in a month combined, and where we're from, we're not poor.

  • Not only did my parents have sex (ew), but also, I didn't fuckin' ask to be here. Now I have to do shit like:

    • Have a job,
    • Pay bills,
    • Go to my job so I can pay my bills so I can go to my job so I can pay my bills so I can go to my job so I can pay my bills so I can go to my job so I can pay my bills so I can go to my job so I can pay my bills...
    • Brush and see a dentist regularly,
    • Wear pants,
    • Be anxious, depressed, autistic, and attention insufficient,
    • Take medications for the above conditions,
    • Poop,
    • Pee,
    • Eat healthy regularly,
    • Not get fat despite all of the easy to get calorie-dense foods out there,
    • Schedule checkups with a doctor, and eventually
    • Die

And society (whatever that is) expects me to have sex and have kids, too! UGH.

  • With all of the alcoholism, that could be the yeast of his problems.
