you know i used to miss having downvotes, but being on blahaj.zone for a while ive changed my mind. if i disagree with someone, or someone disagrees with me, we have to actually say something about it if we want them to know that. we dont even see downvotes here so we're completely unaffected if a bunch of people downvote us. its kinda nice.

this was me. im mostly the inattentive type and went through all these struggles. my parents always thought my struggles were my fault, so when i faltered their response was to push me harder. i could only really relax alone in my room. i remember at one point i just couldnt take it for one more second. i had to go to swim practice but i had literally nothing left in the tank so i barricaded myself in my room and refused to come out until it was too late to go. a couple times they tried to force the door open but couldn't. i dont remember if their behavior really changed after that, but i think it was one of the first times i felt i had the power to say no to them and they couldnt do anything about it. i hope more little girls get the help i never had.

honestly i think most people could use some therapy, assuming they would be honest with their therapist (and themself) and actually want something to change. thankfully ive pretty much purged my life of people who see therapy as some negative or worthless activity. why would i want someone in my life who doesnt see growing as a person as valuable?

depends which part of rocketry theyre doing. no one can do everything. someone does combustion stuff, someone does fluid valves, someone does pumps, someone does turbines, someone does tanks, someone does harnessing, someone does electronics, someone does software, someone does aerodynamics, someone does structural analysis, someone does gnc, someone does gases, someone does sensors, someone does payloads, someone does testing, etc. no one has to learn all the math so its not like its really the most complex thing ever, just a delicate dance of cooperation. but yeah monkeys couldnt do it cause they cant talk, even if they understood the math somehow.
